When vacationing in Aruba you will enjoy this unique tropical island offering many natural attractions throughout the islands landscape. Aruba has a paradise like appearance including the white sand beaches and calm warm waters on the southern side of the island and a dramatic rocky coastline and rough waters on the northern side. Some of the attractions to see in Aruba are: the California Lighthouse, Natural Pool, Rock Formations, Baby Beach, Gold Mill Ruins, caves, Alta Vista Chapel, Arikok National Park, Palm Beach and Hooiberg – haystack mountain. Hooiberg is 541’ high and on a clear day Venezuela is visible

When sightseeing in Aruba wear hiking shoes or sneakers to protect your feet walking on  the rough rock terrain on the northern side of the island. Some of these natural attractions are in remote areas and are only reachable by horseback or 4x4 vehicles. This tropical island is small in size approximately 6 miles wide by 20 miles long, but has attractions that are unique only to Aruba. A major crop in this country is the aloe plant and which is harvested and processed into skin care products and that are among the best in the world. 

Aruba beaches are also among the best in the world and differ drastically from the northern side of the island to the southern side. Within the landscape there are many divi trees which have the appearance of being wind blown and growing sideways. Another attraction is the Butterfly Farm. Here you will see and learn all about the different types of butterflies and how they grow through the stages of development. There is also an Ostrich Farm where you can feed them and learn about their existence.

Aruba Beach Vacation Guide

This small Caribbean Island has some of the most beautiful soft white sand beaches in the world. The sandy coast of Aruba is great for beach activities, sightseeing, and water sports. The natural picture like landscape along the oceanfront is breath taking and  the perfect place for lounging, swimming, sun tanning, walking or just relaxing while enjoying the cool trade winds and crystal clear ocean waters. The climate is beautiful with little rainfall and most days are sunny with temperatures averaging 89 – 94 degrees. The rays of the sun are very strong and care should be taken to protect skin from excessive exposure to sunburn. Always use sunscreens, sun block, tanning lotion or tanning oil when sunbathing or walking along the coast and beaches. The weather is perfect for sunbathers, watersports, water skiing, para sailing, diving, snorkeling, fishing, jet ski, tubing, windsurfing, relaxing, cruises, sunset sailing and sun tanning. Some of the popular beaches are- Eagle Beach, Palm Beach, Manchebo Beach, Baby Beach, Bucuti Beach, Arashi Beach, Malmok Beach, Druif Beach, Surfside Beach, Sonesta Island, Dos Playa Beach, Rodgers Beach, Hadicurari Beach, Mange Halto Beach. There are many other private and secluded beach areas around the island. Topless sunbathing is allowed with discretion of your surroundings and consideration should be given to other families on the beach with children. Nude sunbathing is not allowed, but there are many private beach areas where you can sunbathe nude.

• Arashi Beach - calm waters, swimming is fine, white sand.
• Baby Beach - on the island's eastern tip, warm shallow water, good for snorkeling and children.
• Boca Catalina -  some stones and pebbles along this white-sand beach
• Boca Grandi - rough surf -good swimming skills are needed at this beach. Boca Prins – rough terrain, you need a four-wheel-drive vehicle.
• Boca Tabla - east-side beach,
• Bachelor's Beach 
• Dos Playa - need four-wheel-drive vehicle. 
• Druif. Fine white sand and calm waters. 
• Eagle Beach - located on the southwestern coast. 
• Fisherman's Huts - also called Hadikurari Beach – where local fisherman bring in their catch of the day.
• Grapefield Beach - northeast of San Nicolas. 
• Malmok Beach - northwestern shore. 
• Punta Brabo Beach - front of the Manchebo Beach Resort. 
• Manchebo Beach - beautiful wide long white sand beach.
• Rodger's Beach - next to Baby Beach, shallow warm water.
